2015 CNAHA@GWICC — Call for Lecturers and Abstracts!

Dear CNAHA Members and Network Friends:

Bridging clinical, translational and basic medical and scientific cooperation between Chinese and American cardiovascular professionals is one of our missions. Actively participating annual meetings of Great Wall International Cardiology (GWICC, Oct 29-Nov 1, 2015) indeed has become one of our traditions. 

This year CNAHA-GWICC will have two joint sessions: one for structural heart disease and the other proposed for cardiac electrophysiology. GWICC will provide full sponsorship to eight CNAHA members. The self- or alternatively-funded members and non-Chinese origin cardiology professionals are encouraged to submit evidence-based hot topic lectures or the report of good science studies. The deadline for lecture topic submission is March 10th 2015.  If your lectures are chosen by GWICC, you will become one of the CNAHA delegates. 

The eligibility for fully funded lecturers:

1. Support CNAHA missions with regular/lifetime membership fees paid by March 10th, 2015.

2. 1st-Tier candidates (not a 1st-Tier lecturer in 2014)

3. Has the expertise, rich experience/knowledge in regard to the lecture topic

4. Willing to perform YIA abstract grading prior to the meeting and multi-tasking during the meeting.

We encourage self- and alternatively-funded members and network colleagues who are the established investigators to submit any topics of your expertise by March 10th along with your CV to Li Zhang at ldlzhang@gmail.com. Any delayed submission may not be approved by GWICC.   

For all the members and network colleagues, you or your students are encouraged to submit your unpublished study abstracts to GWICC. When formulating your topics, please pay a special attention to the meeting categories and requirement. The best-fit topics may have higher chance to be selected. Accepted abstracts will be published in the supplement of JACC while significant research results and excellent abstracts will be presented at the congress sessions of related topics and be eligible to participate in the English speech contest (non-native English-speakers), oral presentation or poster display, etc. 

The abstract submission deadline is April 30, 2015.
