Dr. Ning Jiang holds a Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.) in Cardiology which she received in July 2002 from Peking University Health Science Center, Beijing, China. She also received a Bachelor of Medicine degree (M.B.) in 1996 and a Master of Medicine degree (M.Med.) in 1998 from the same institution. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at the First Hospital of Peking University. Upon graduation, Dr. Jiang worked as an Attending Cardiologist at the First Hospital of Peking University and soon after, she obtained Postdoctoral Fellowship from Queen’s University, Ontario, Canada, where she conducted signal transduction and transgenic research. Subsequently, Dr. Jiang moved to the United States to complete the three-year Internal Medicine Residency training at Prince George’s Hospital Center, Maryland, where she obtained the faculty position upon the completion that she has been holding as of today. She has mentored resident physicians as well as medical students and received "Outstanding Teaching Award", "Outstanding Service Award" et al. She has concurrently worked as an Attending Physician in the Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplant Program at Washington Hospital Center of Georgetown University, Washington DC.  
Dr. Jiang's research interests are therapeutic angiogenesis, signal transduction and cardiovascular risk (homocysteine and HIV). Her research results have been archived by GenBank. As a Principal Investigator, her gene therapy project received the grant from Ministry of Education, China. Currently, she is the Principal Investigator of two federally-funded research projects.
Dr. Jiang's professional affiliations include Association of Program Director of Internal Medicine (APDIM), Alliance of Academic Internal Medicine (AAIM), American College of Physicians (ACP), Association of Chinese American Physicians (ACAP) and Chinese American Heart Association (CNAHA). She has repeatedly served as the Judge of ACP annual scientific meeting. She is actively involved in the mentorship program of great metro area and served as board member and mentorship chair of ACAP, Mid Atlantic Chapter. As general secretary of CNAHA, she has co-hosted ChinaNight@ACC.14, Washington DC.

姜宁,就读于北京大学医学部临床医学系,分别于1996,1998及2002年获医学学士,硕士及博士学位。并在北京大学第一临床医院完成内科住院医师及心血管内科专科培训。之后在加拿大皇后大学从事信号转导及转基因研究。于2011年在美国完成内科住院医师培训,同年留任乔治王子医院从事内科临床教学,临床研究以及相关行政事务。作为临床导师,辅导住院医师,医学生数十人,连年评为优秀教学奖及优秀医师奖。同时,作为主治医师在乔治敦大学华盛顿医院心脏移植中心从事心衰诊断和治疗。尤其侧重于终末心衰的高端治疗:心脏移植及近百例心室辅助装置的急性诊治及长期随访。参与第三代心室辅助装置(HeartWare)的临床试验工作,HeartWare已于2013年11月获得FDA批准正式应用于临床。
研究方向包括治疗性血管生成,信号转导以及心血管危险因子(同型半胱氨酸,人类免疫缺陷病毒)。现为APDIM,AAIM,ACP,ACAP,CNAHA成员。连年获邀在美国医师协会科技年会大华盛顿地区分会担任评委。
