Dr. Dali Feng graduated from Chengde Medical College. He won master degree in medicine at FuWai Hospital/Peking Union Medical College in 1990. He was an attending physician in cardiology from 1990-1994 at the First Teaching Hospital of Beijing Medical University. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1994 and spent six years at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center of Harvard Medical School as a research fellow. He collaborated with the Framingham Heart Study and investigated cardiovascular genetics, haemostatic factors, platelet function and thrombosis.  He finished his internal medicine residency training in Boston Medical Center, Boston University School of Medicine and completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic.  He was appointed as an assistant professor at Mayo Clinic from 2005-2008.  He has been with Metropolitan Heart and Vascular Institute in Minneapolis since 2008. Dr. Feng is a clinical cardiologist and he has been the director of cardiac MRI at the Metropolitan Heart and Vascular Institute since 2009. He serves as the vice president of Chinese American Heart Association since 2012, and the Chairman of cardiac imaging of CNAHA from 2012-2014. His professional interests include general cardiology, with particular interest in pericardial disease, cardiomyopathy, cardiac amyloidosis, thrombosis, and cardiovascular imaging including echocardiography, cardiac MRI and cardiac CT.

Dr. Feng is an accomplished cardiovascular researcher, with publications of more than 40 original manuscripts including in Circulation, Stroke, Arteriosclerosis Thrombosis and Vascular Biology and JACC Imaging, etc. He authored 8 books’ chapters and was the chief editor of a book: Amyloidosis.

He won more than a dozen of awards including The New England Cardiovascular Research Competition and Award 1997 for his work on “Increased platelet aggregability associated with platelet GPIIIa PlA2 polymorphism”; Blondan Fellowship Award in Cardiovascular Disease Research  at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School 1997-2000; The 2006 Edward C. Rosenow, III, the annul Best Fellow Teaching Award at the Mayo Clinic. His original manuscript “Cardiac MRI Pericardial Late Gadolinium Enhancement and elevated inflammatory markers Can Predict the Reversibility of Constrictive Pericarditis after anti-inflammatory medical therapy” published in Circulation in 2011 was the editor’s pick of the Circulation as the mostly read and mostly cited manuscript in cardiovascular imaging in the year 2012. He regularly evaluates manuscripts for publication in the Circulation, Circulation cardiovascular imaging, Heart and Vessel, European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, Lancet, Journal of American College of Cardiology, and American Journal of Cardiology.

        冯医生毕业于承德医学院,1990年在北京协和医学院/阜外医院获得医学硕士学位,1990-1994年在北京医科大学第一附属医院担任心内科主治医师。1994年移民美国,在哈佛医学院贝丝·以色列·迪肯尼斯医疗中心(Beth Israel Deaconess Medical center)从事6年研究员工作;与弗明翰心脏研究合作,研究心血管遗传学、止血因子、血小板功能和血栓形成。他于2004年在波士顿大学医学院波士顿医疗中心完成住院医师培训, 在梅约(Mayo) 医学中心完成心血管专科医师培训。2005-20088年被任命名梅约医学中心副教授,2008年至今就职于明尼亚波利大都会心血管研究所 (Metropolitan Heart and Vascular Institute in Minneapolis)。
