Dr. Hong Wang received her medical training from JinagXi Medical School, an MS degree from Peking Union Medical University, a PhD degree in Biochemistry from University of Montreal, and an EMBA degree from Fox Business School in Temple University. She did her post-doctoral fellowship and then was a research associate in Harvard School of Public Health from 1996 to 1999. She joined faculty in Baylor College of Medicine as an assistant professor in 1999. She moved to Temple University School of Medicine as an associate professor in 2005, and became a tenured professor in 2007.
Dr. Wang currently is a pharmacology professor and Assistant Dean for Research at Temple University School of Medicine (TUSM). She teaches Pharmacology in TUSM, Podiatry School of Medicine, School of Dentistry and Temple University Graduate School. Her research focuses are cardiovascular inflammation, atherosclerosis, vascular function, molecular mechanism, and signal transduction. She is an editorial member of JCI, Circulation, J Molecular & Cellular Cardiology and Clinical Medicine: Pathology.

王虹博士毕业于江西医学院, 后获得北京协和医科大学理学硕士、蒙特利尔大学生物化学博士、和坦普尔大学Fox商学院高层工商管理硕士。她于1996-1999年在哈佛公共卫生学院从事博士后研究并成为助理研究员;1999年加盟贝勒医学院成为助理教授,2005年转到坦普尔大学医学院成为副教授, 2007成为终身教授。
目前,王博士在坦普尔大学医学院(TUSM)担任药理学教授、TUSM科研副院长,并在TUSM、坦普尔脚足病学院、口腔学院, 研究生院教授药理学和分子生物学课程。其研究方向为心血管炎症、动脉粥样硬化、血管功能、分子机制和信号转导;并担任JCI、Circulation和J Molecular & Cellular Cardiology and Clinical Medicine: Pathology的编委。
