Then I passed the American national examination of American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography (ARDCS) in both Pediatric Echocardiography and Adult Echocardiography. So I became the first American Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer  from mainland China  Now  I work at Division of Cardiology of Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.During the past 20 years I have published more than 20 papers in both American and Chinese medical literature. I also published a book called “ 小儿超声心动图学指南“ in 2000 年，北京人民卫生出版社出版I also co-authored books (English version) called " Pediatric Echocardiographic pocket  References" 1995 1st edition, 2000 2nd edition, 2005 3rd edition.I also won the Award of Echocardiographic Case Competition of American Society of Echocardiography in 2007 in Seattle Washington  USA.Won the first prize of the Best Case Presentation of the Year of 2008 by Chicago Society of Echocardiography in Nov, 2008. 阎鹏1988年毕业于亚利桑那州立大学亚利桑那心脏研究所心脏超声系，之后通过全美“美国诊断性心脏超声注册” 考试（ARDCS）（包括小儿心超和成人心超），从而成为首位来自中国大陆的美国心脏超声诊断师。目前，我就职于芝加哥儿童纪念医院心脏科。 在过去的20年里，我发表中、英文文章20余篇，并于2000年出版专著“小儿超声心动图学指南”（北京人民卫生出版社出版）；而且，我还是“小儿超声心动图袖珍参考”(英文版)的共同作者（1995年第一版，2002年第二版，2005年第三版）。 此外，2007年在华盛顿州西雅图，我还获得美国超声心动图协会“心超病例报道竞赛优胜奖”，并在2008年11月获得芝加哥超声心动图学会“最佳病例报道一等奖”。 Selected publications 1.
